If only all plugins were this well thought out, this well built, this feature rich and this well supported. This plugin is now pivotal to a number of websites for us. It's intuitive, easy to setup, easy to understand and provides end users with an easy to use event system. Not only that but the plugin is being developed at a very fast rate. A powerful Events component is an important part of my startup. I roadtested every solution available, and, at the time of writing, Buddyvents is by far the best. Not only is it intuitive, but the default stylesheet blends seamlessly into the BP Default theme out of the box, providing a great starting point for child theming. Feature wise, it ticks all the boxes and more. On top of that the developer is highly responsive, and the project has good momentum. The best bit I've saved until last. The Geo layer built into the plugin will give your users maps (with routes!) to your event, as well as directions ("turn left, turn right" etc) door to door. I answered the question "would you recommend this product" Yes, but the truth is I won't. I plan to keep my advantage, and this component is a part of that. Money well spent. Having worked with a number of event plug-ins and modules, most have needed a ton of customizations made and in the end were not worth the effort. Buddyvents provides all the features and functionality you could ask for and more, and to top it off they have awesome customer service and seem to be really nice guys. If your site needs an events plug-in you've just found the solution, and it is so easy to install even a baby could do it.
